I agree with Sergio. Aosta Valley is richer than Trentino, but resources (=public money) are often badly used (do you remember the train Pila-Cogne?? 30 milions thrown in the w.c....).
On the other hand, maybe in Trentino people have more ideas, maybe they are more "enterprising" than in Western Alps, as they are "influenced" by the nearby Suedtirol and Austria. But it often happens that projects (expensive projects: Pejo 3000, railway San Martino-Rolle, Metroland Fiemme-Fassa, cableway Alba-Belvedere, Panarotta's gondola etc..) are seldom realized, as they are first proposed , then discussed, disputed (as they are too expensive or not eco-friendly), modified and finally cancelled. In that case money is saved, but promises are not kept. I really hope that Pinzolo-Campiglio is not going to have the same destiny of many other unrealized projects.

I'm not agree. The italian area near Trentino is one of the richest area in Europe without public money, instead the nordtirol has been a poor area.

Obviously! I did not mean that in Trentino people are poor. I was just saying that they often TALK but their words rarely come true.. (or they come true in very long times...).
